Overview
What is Trezor Suite?
Trezor Suite is a desktop and web application that connects to your Trezor hardware wallet so you can manage cryptocurrencies, check balances, send and receive funds, and interact with supported apps — all while the private keys remain safely on the device.
Why use Trezor Suite?
It provides a secure, user-friendly interface for advanced wallet features, firmware updates, application integrations, and a recovery workflow designed to minimize risk while giving you full control over your funds.
Quick Start — 5 Essential Steps
1. Unbox & Verify
Check packaging & authenticity
Inspect the seal, serial number, and tamper-evident elements. Only proceed if packaging appears untouched and matches the seller.
2. Install Trezor Suite
Download from the official site
Visit the official download page and install the Suite version appropriate for your OS. Avoid third-party downloads and browser extensions that aren’t official.
3. Connect Device
Use the supplied cable
Connect your Trezor device to your computer and follow the on-screen prompts. The device will ask you to confirm the connection and may request a firmware update.
4. Create a New Wallet
Set a PIN and record recovery
Choose a strong PIN on the device. Write down your recovery seed on the provided card — never store it digitally. Keep the recovery offline and in a secure location.
5. Fund & Use
Receive a small test amount first
Send a small test transaction before larger transfers. Familiarize yourself with sending, receiving, and account management inside Suite.
Security Best Practices
Keep your seed offline
Your recovery seed is the single most sensitive piece of data. Record it by hand — never in cloud notes or pictures. Consider a fireproof and waterproof storage for the seed card.
Firmware & Software
Only install firmware updates and Suite versions offered through official channels. Verify firmware updates on the device display before approving.
Phishing & Scams
Be suspicious of unsolicited support messages, links, or prompts asking for your seed or PIN. Trezor staff will never ask for your full seed or PIN in a message.
Advanced Features
Passphrase (Hidden Wallets)
Use a passphrase to create hidden wallets accessible only when the passphrase is entered. This adds plausible deniability but requires understanding the risks: losing the passphrase means losing access to the funds.
Third-party integrations
Trezor supports integrations (e.g., coin-swap services, DeFi interfaces). Use trusted dApps and verify transaction details on the device screen every time.

Presenting Tips
Slides & Speaking
When presenting this document, use each section as a slide: state the key idea, demonstrate Suite on-screen, and show the device to emphasize on-device confirmations. Keep live demos limited to small test transactions.
Accessibility
Provide a clear transcript of steps and ensure color contrast for participants. The orange accent is used to guide attention — avoid relying solely on color to convey meaning.
